Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments or direct bank transfer (BACS). If you wish purchase from out side the United Kingdom please email or call to arrange a shipping quotation.

We accept Visa Cedit and Debit cards, and MasterCard. A fee of 2% applies for trade customer who wish to pay by credit card, no fee for debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Backorder items will be added to your next order.

Please include your invoice number when making a bank transfer.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake on our copy of the order.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

Shipping costs are based on the total weight of your order and delivery method selected.

Pallet and Courier cost are for accesable post codes - Up to zone 3 of our transport companies rate card.

If you think your delivery location is some what remote please contact us to confirm the delivery charge.

All orders containing bisque items should be shipped on a pallet. We do not guarantee the safe delivery of any bisque shipped by parcel or courier delivery. Any breakages are at customers cost. Bisque sent on pallet is insured and any breakages will be replaced on the next order. Please send photograph of all damaged items.

Three types of delivery are used in our store:

Royal Mail - Small packets up to 1 kg
Courier Van - Orders up to 48kg (Bisque items not insured)
Palletised Transport - any weight or order size


Delivery Schedule We process your order right away. We will normally dispatch your order with in 3 to 5 business days depending on size and whether all items are in stock.

Out of stock bisque item can take up to three weeks to produce. Imported bisque items that are out of stock will be notified to you on order acceptance.

You must inform us within 5 working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we can back order for you. You must specifically request that items be put on back order. Back order items will be added to your next order if they are instock.
Tax Charges
For orders delivered within the UK, 17.5% VAT is added.

For orderes delivered to other EU member states 17.5% VAT is added unless an EU VAT number is supplied.

For EU VAT registered businesses items are delivered VAT free however Bisque UK must be supplied with a valid EU VAT number prior to issuing an invoice. This will remaove VAT from the invoice.


VAT note.
For EU member states outside the UK we do not charge VAT however you will still need to pay VAT to your VAT collection authority. For UK businesses purchasing from other EU states the same applies. VAT is not charged by the supplier but must be paid to the UK Customs and Excise (VAT office) via box 2 on your VAT return. This also applies to business on a flat rate VAT scheme.

VAT is thus an even playing field accross the EU.
Credit Card Security Currently we do not take payment at check out. When your order is received and processed, Bisque UK will call or email with order status. Once your order is ready for dispatch Bisque UK will request payment..

Eventually when card payments are implemented on line, credit card numbers will be encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

You may return the items to us in original packaging and original condition.

Return delivery cost must be covered by yourself.

Original delivery cost will be deducted from your refund unless we are at fault by supplying
inncorrect or damaged goods.

Privacy Policy Bisque UK do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, excluding the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned smust be in original packaging and saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
